The pre-grated soap is easily used by adding to a jar with hot water to dissolve and the soapy liquid is added directly to the wool to felt the fibres.
Olive oil soap is preferred by felter's due to it being low foaming and It rinses easily from the woollen fibres and soft on your hands. Also assists the fibres to felt more quickly.
